Forensics Vocab Stuff

Forensic means what in Latin? Of the forum.
Forensic Science- Study of forensics.
Criminalistics- Fancy word for forensics.
Post-mortem- After death.
Who is the father of modern forensics? Paul Kirk.
Chain of Custody- System from handing down the evidence from one place to the other until it reaches the courtroom.
Odontology- Fancy word for teeth study.
Anthropology- Working with skeletal remains.
Entemology- Study of bugs
Hot Search- Search for a criminal who is thought to be close to the crime scene.
Cold Search- Search of a crime scene where a suspect is not in the area.
