WHAT IS PHARMACODYNAMICS? IT'S HOW THE DRUGS AFFECT THE BODY (MECHANISM OF ACTION, EFFICACY, AND POTENCY).
WHAT IS A DRUG? IT'S A CHEMICALLY SYNTHESIZED SUBSTANCES THAT ALTER PHYSIOLOGICAL FUNCTIONS.
WHAT IS THERAPEUTICS? REFERS TO THE APPLICATION OF DRUGS AND OTHER INTERVENTIONS TO TREAT DISEASE AND IMPROVE PATIENT HEALTH.
WHAT IS BIOLOGICS? THESE ARE PRODUCTS DERIVED FROM LIVING ORGANISMS SUCH AS VACCINES, BLOOD COMPONENTS, OR MONOCLONAL ANTIBODIES.
WHAT ARE ALTERNATIVE THERAPIES? THESE ARE NON-CONVENTIONAL APPROACHES LIKE HERBAL REMEDIES, ACUPUNCTURE, ETC.
WHAT ARE PRESCRITION DRUGS? REQUIRE AUTHORIZATION FROM A LICENSED HEALTH PROFESSIONAL; USED FOR CONDITIONS NEEDING MEDICAL SUPERVISION.
WHAT ARE OTC DRUGS? OVER-THE-COUNTER DRUGS CAN BE BOUGHT WITHOUT A PRESCRIPTION AND ARE CONSIDERED SAFE FOR USE WITHOUT MEDICAL OVERSIGHT.
