| Alzheimer's Disease | is a progressive brain disorder that slowly destroys memory, thinking skills, and the ability to carry out daily activities. |
| Behavior | is how a person acts or responds to people, situations, or their environment. |
| Cognition | the ability to think, learn, remember, and use information to respond and solve problems. |
| Confusion | is a state of being unable to think clearly, understand, or remember things. |
| Delirium | is a sudden, severe confusion and rapid change in mental state, often caused by illness or medication. |
| Delusion | is a false belief strongly held despite evidence proving it wrong. |
| Dementia | a progressive decline in memory and thinking skills that interferes with daily life. |
| Depression | is a mood disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest in activities. |
| Dignity | is treating others with respect and valuing their worth as individuals. |
| Doing Activities | involves engaging in tasks or hobbies that promote mental, physical, or social well-being. |
| Independence | is the ability to do things and make decisions without help from others. |
| Irreversible | means a condition or change that cannot be undone or cured. |
| Meaningful Activities | are tasks that are enjoyable and important to a person, helping them feel purposeful and engaged. |
| Onset | is the beginning or start of a disease or condition. |
| Paranoia | is an irrational fear or suspicion that others are trying to harm or deceive you. |
| Progressive | means a condition that gradually gets worse over time. |
| Quality of Life | is the overall well-being and happiness a person experiences in their daily life. |
| Respect | is treating others with consideration and valuing their feelings and rights. |
| Sundowning | is increased confusion and agitation in the late afternoon or evening, often seen in people with dementia. |
| Wandering | is when a person moves around aimlessly or tries to leave a safe area, often due to confusion or memory loss. |
