What are the effects of a fast pace on the elderly A fast pace can cause confusion, anxiety, and increased risk of falls in elderly people because it can overwhelm their slower processing and reaction times.
Discuss Social Breakdown Syndrome when elderly people become withdrawn, lose interest in activities, and feel depressed or apathetic due to isolation and loss of independence.
Discuss Pacing and Patience Pacing is repetitive walking often caused by restlessness or anxiety, while patience is staying calm and tolerant when supporting someone exhibiting behaviors like pacing.
