Element a pure substance that cannot be broken down chemically into simpler substances
Heterogeneous mixture a mixture that is not uniform throughout
Homogeneous mixture a mixture that is uniform throughout
pH the measure of how acidic or basic a solution is
Surface Tension the cohesive property of water that causes it to resist external force
