chron/temp Greek/Latin- “Time”
chronic (adj) continuing or occurring again and again for a long time; happening or existing frequently or most of the time.
synchronize (v) To cause (things) to agree in time or to make (things) happen at the same time and speed.
tempo (n) The speed at which a musical piece is played or sung; the speed at which something moves or happens.
contemporary (adj) Happening or beginning now or in recent times; existing or happening in the same time period: from the same time period.
temporal (adj) Of or relating to time as opposed to eternity.
cid, cis Latin- “To cut or kill”
decide (v) Come to a resolution in the mind as a result of consideration; cause to come to a resolution.
insecticide (n) Substance used for killing insects.
incision (n) A surgical cut made in skin or flesh; the action or process of cutting into something.
concise (adj) Giving a lot of information clearly and in a few words; brief but comprehensive.
homocide (v) killing of a human
precise (adj) marked by exactness and accuracy of expression or detail.
incisive (adj) (of a person or mental process) intelligently analytical and clear-thinking.
chronological (adj) arranged in the order that things happened
chronicle (n) a factual written account of important or historical events in the order of their occurrence
temporary (adj) lasting for only a limited period of time; not permanent
extemporaneous (adj) spoken or done without preparation (literally “out of time” or “at the moment”)
