What are Chromosomes? Chromosomes are string like structure that are made up of DNA. One person should have 46 or 23 pairs of chromosomes.
What are Chromatins? Chromatins are protein that make up chromosomes.

What is a Nitrogenous base? A nitrogenous base is a molecule that has nitrogen in it and is the base of DNA
What is a codon? A codon is 3 nucleotide that are put together to code for amino acids.
What is a Nucleotide? A nucleotide is a code made by two molecules.
What are Amino Acids and Proteins? Amino Acids are molecules that are created by codons. Amino acids create proteins. Proteins are molecules that the body needs to function.
What are Genes? Genes are a segment of your DNA.
What is Phenylketonuria and how do you test for it? Phenylketonuria is a disease that cause brain damage due to the body not having enzyme to digest amino acids. To test for Phenylketonuria, doctors usually have a look at babies blood.
What is a Down Syndrome and how do you test for it? Down syndrome is a disease where a baby has an extra chromosomes. For example, a person has 47 chromosomes instead of 46. You can test for this disease before the child is born by taking the fluid in the mother's womb and testing that.
What is Huntington disease and how do you test for it? Huntington disease is a disease where it affects the nerve cells causing muscles to lose control and twitch uncontrollably. This disease can be tested by a DNA screening.
What are Transgenic Organisms? Transgenic Organisms are genes that are altered with another species DNA.
What is Genetic engineering? Genetic engineering is a way to combine genes from one species to another one.
What are Mutations? A mutation is when the codon's order has change causing an abnormality in the proteins.
What are Mutagens? Mutagens are things that cause the codon's to change.
What is cloning? Cloning is creating copies of something.
