Energy The ability to to do work or cause change
motion The sate in which one object´s distance from changing
force A push or a pull exverted on an object
work Force exverted on an object that causes it to move
power The rate at which one form of energy is transfered to another
W= FxD formula to calculate work: Work= force x distance unit is Nm or J
P= FxD/ T Formula to calculate power: Power= fxd/T unit= watts
Kinetic Energy Energy that an object has due to motion
Potential Energy The energy an object has because of its position; also internal stored of an object
Gravitational Potetial energy potentail energy that depends on the height of an object
Elastic Potentail energy The energy transfers through space by elctromagnet waves
Mechanical Energy Kenetic or potentail energy associated with the motion or position of an object
Nuclear Energy The potentail stored in the ucleus of an atom
Thermal Energy The total kinetic energy of particles of an object
Chemical Energy A form of potentail energy that is stored in chemical bands between atoms
Electrical Energy The energy of electric charges
Electromagnetic radiation The energy transfered through space by electromagnetic waves
