Atoms The tiny pieces that all matter -- all the stuff in the world -- is made of.
Chemical reaction A process in shich atome rearrange to form new substances.

reactant a substance that takes part in and undergoes change during a reaction.

boiling point the temperature at which a liquid boils and turns to vapor.
chemical formula A chemical formula tells us the number of atoms of each element in a compound.
extended structure a three-dimensional arrangement of atoms or molecules that exhibit a repeating pattern or connectivity, often found in solids like crystals
melting point the temperature at which a substance changes from the solid phase to the liquid phase.
molecule a group of atomsjoined together in a particular way.
fertilizer a substance that is added to soil to help plants grow.
corrosive able to cause damage.
