QuestionAnswer
What happens when volcanoes erupt? Lava kills plants and animals in the area. Ash and gases are introduced into the air.
What happens when glaciers melt? They carve massive holes in the land. The melted water then fills the holes left behind, forming streams and lakes.
What I the rain shadow effect? The rain shadow effect is when water evaporates, forming clouds, and it rains on one side making green lush vegetation and the other side is dry and ashy.
What is industry? It is air pollution emitted from the factories manufacturing goods.
What is agriculture? It is pesticides and fertilizers that contaminate groundwater, machines harvesting crops
What is everyday life? It is when vehicles used for transportation emitt pollutants into the atmosphere.
