what does a physical hazard mean? includes noise, radiation
what does a electrical/mechanical hazard mean? includes high voltage apparatus, machinery with moving parts
what does a psychological hazard mean? includes emotional stress
how do you use the safety shower? remove affected clothing, pull ring down
how do you use the eye wash? hold eyes open and roll eyes so that water can flow on all surfaces, rinse for 15 min.
where does sharp objects go? all broken glass, razor blades go in the sharps box
when must eye protection be used? when using chemicals
when must gloves be worn? when using hazardous chemicals
list the steps you should do in a chemical spill situation? get away from the spills, identify the chemical, get help, seal of the area, note the location of the spill kit
how do you read a chemical label? note that all chemical labels have the hazards listed, secondary containers must have appropriate hazard warning labels.
