Water Cycle

| Sublimation | Process in which ice/snow changes to vapor in air without first melting into water. |
| Condensation | Process in which water vapor is changed to liquid water. |
| Surface runoff | Water flowing downhill without being absorbed by land. |
| Sun | Its energy drives the water cycle by evaporation. |
| Infiltration | Process of water being absorbed into the ground. |
| Accumulation | Process where water pools in large bodies where it is collected. |
| Ocean | A large body of saltwater covering nearly ¾ of Earth. |
| Cloud | A visible mass of water or ice particles in the atmosphere |
| Precipitation | Water being released from clouds as rain |
| Evaporation | Process that changes liquid water to vapor (gaseous water) |
| Humidity | Measure of water vapor in the air |
| Water Cycle | A process by which water circulates between ocean, atmosphere and land |
| Watershed | An area of land that drains rainfall, snowmelts and runoff into a common body of water. |
| Transpiration | Process where water evaporates into atmosphere through plants. |
