| expire | (v) to end; to no longer be valid after a period of time; to die. |
| inspire | (v) to make someone want to do something; to give someone an idea about what to do or create. |
| spirit | (n) the force within a person that is believed to give the body life, energy, and power. |
| perspire | (v) to produce a clear liquid from your skin when you are hot or nervous. |
| conspire | (v) to secretly plan with someone to do something that is harmful or illegal. |
| aspire | (v) to want to have or achieve something, such as a particular career or level of success. |
| transpiration | (n) the passage of watery vapor from a living body, such as of a plant, through a membrane or pores. |

| stature | (n) importance or reputation gained by ability or achievement; a person’s height. |
| statue | (n) a carved or cast figure of a person or animal, especially one that is life-size or larger. |
