scrib Latin- “to write”
prescribe (v) to lay down, in writing or otherwise, as a rule or a course of action to be followed; appoint, ordain, or enjoin.
describe (v) to tell or depict in written or spine words; give an account of written on stone, brick, metal, or other hard surface.
scripture (n) any writing or book, especially when of a sacred or religious nature.
scribble (v) to write hastily or carelessly; to cover with meaningless writing or marks.
subscription (n) the right to receive a periodical for a sum paid, usually for an agreed number of issues.
script (n) the letters or characters used in writing by hand; handwriting, especially cursive writing; a manuscript or document.
scribe (n) a person who serves as a professional copyist, especially one who made copies of manuscripts before the invention of printing.
sens, sent Latin- “to feel, sense, perceive”
sensation (n) a physical feeling or response to slight changes. Signals, or influences happen to or come into contact with the body.
sentimental (adj) of or prompted by feelings of tenderness, sadness, or nostalgia feel or state annoyance or anger at someone or something.
sentient (adj) able to perceive or feel things.
sensible (adj) showing or containing good sense, judgment, or reason.
consensus (n) general agreement.
consent (n) permission for something to happen or an agreement to do something.
sensory (adj) of or relating to sensation of the physical sensation or the physical senses; transmitted or perceived by the senses.
sensitive (adj) quick to detect or respond to slight changes, signals, or influences.
