philanthropy (n) a spirit of goodwill toward all people especially when expressed in active and generous efforts to help others; a charitable act or gift.
philosophy (n) the study of the basic ideas about knowledge, truth, right and wrong, religion, and the nature and meaning of life; someone’s basic beliefs about the way people should live.
hydrophilic (adj) of, relating to, or having a strong affinity for water; often used in science to describe elements or compounds that bond with or that are attracted to water.
philharmonic (adj) devoted to music (mainly used in the names of orchestras).
bibliophile (n) a person who collects or has a great love of books
hemophilia (n) a medical condition in which the ability of the blood to clot is severely reduced, causing the sufferer to bleed severely from even a slight injury
