ROM Read Only Memory- BIOS is chip that contains instructions and commands to tell how to start up. Non-Volatile /PERMANENT MEMORY
Hard Drive Used to permanently store data

Heat Sink metal device designed to absorb and disperse heat away from the CPU outfitted with built-in fans to help keep both the CPU and the heat sink at an appropriate temperature.
