Name 3 wastes that are biodegradable. an apple core, a pile of rotting leaves, and egg shells
Name 3 wastes that are NOT biodegradable. a milk jug, plastic, and rubber
Describe the work of a meteorologist. uses technology to study the variation in atmospheric conditions that produce weather
What is ecology? the study of the complex relationships between living things and their environment
What is astronomy? the study of the universe beyond the earth
Give an example of an ecosystem and state if it is self-supporting. The ocean is an example of the largest ecosystem and the water is how it supports itself
Describe the work of geologists explore the earth's crust in search of coal, oil, gas, and resources
Describe the work of oceanographers study waves, tides, and ocean currents; some explore the ocean floor for clues to the earth's history and to locate mineral deposits; some study marine plant and animal life; some work on research ships to study the sea
