SLO Test

QuestionAnswer
Independent Variable The thing you/scientist change. "The Cause" "What I change!"
Control Variable The thing that stays the same in the experiment.
Dependent Variable What you are trying to measure. The data collected. "The effect!" What I observe!"
Hypothesis An educated guess. A possible explanation that is tested with an experiment.
Data Information gained through observation and measurement.
Variable Something in an experiment that can be changed.
Quantitative Observation Observation made using measurements.
Qualitative observation Observation made using your 5 senses.

D.R.Y D=Dependent R=Responding Y=Y-axis
