The terms for the SLO

TermDefinition
Independent variable The thing you/scientist changes" The cause" "What I change"
Control Variable The things that stays the same in the experiment.
Dependent Variable What you are trying to measure. The Data collected."The effect" The Effect" "What I observe"
Hypothesis Educated guess. A possible explanation that is tested with an experiment.
Data Information gained through observations and measurements.
Variable Something in an experiment that can be changed.
Quantitative Observation Observation made using measurments
Qualitative observation Observations made using your 5 senses.
