TermDefinition
Independent Variable The thing you/scientist changes. "The Cause" "What I change"
Control Variable The thing that stay the same in the experiment.
Dependent Variable What you are trying to measure. The data collected. "The effect" "What I observe"
Hypothesis An educated guess. A possible explanation that is tested with an experiment.
Data Information gained through observations and measurements.
Variable Something in a experiment that can change.
Quantitative Observation Observations made using measurements.
Qualitative Observation Observations made using your life senses.
