Mitochondria Provides the cell with energy. Is often called the power house of the cell
Vacuole Membrane bound sac that holds water
Cell wall Is only found in the plant cell and gives then a definite shape
Ribosome Tiny structure that create proteins for the cell witch float within the cytoplasm or connected to the rough and reticulum
Chloroplast Organelle responsible for photosynthesis and gives the plant its green color
Nucleus Holds genetic information (DNA)
Endoplasmic reticulum Smooth endoplasmic reticulum: creates lipids for the cell. rough endoplasmic reticulum: holds and changes proteins
