equation (n) a statement that two expressions are equal
equitable (adj) just or fair
equator (n) the great circle of the earth that is equidistant from the North Pole and South Pole
equitable (adj) dealing fairly and equally with everyone
equillibrium (n) equal balance between any powers, influences, etc.
equillibruim (n) equality of equality of effect.
dys Greek- “Badly, Ill”
dysfunction (n) Abnormality or impairment in the function of a specified bodily organ or system
dysentery (n) A disease characterized by severe diarrhea with the passage of mucus and blood from the bowels.
dyslexia (n) A general term for disorders that involve difficulty in learning to read or interpret words, letters, and other symbols, but that do not affect general intelligence.
dystopia (n) An imagined place or state in which everything is unpleasant or bad, typically a totalitarian or environmentally degraded one.
dysplasia (n) the enlargement of an organ or tissue by the proliferation of cells of an abnormal type, as a developmental disorder or an early stage in the development of cancer
dyspnea (n) difficult or labored breathing
dysfunction deviation from the norms of social behavior in a way regarded as bad.
