| Respiratory | Pertaining to the system involved in the exchange of gases, primarily oxygen and carbon dioxide, in the lungs and throughout the body. |
| Digestive | Related to the processes by which food is broken down into smaller components that can be absorbed and utilized by the body. |
| Musculoskeletal | Referring to the organ system that enables humans and other animals to move using the muscular and skeletal systems. |
| Nervous | Concerning the system that transmits signals between different parts of the body, responsible for controlling and coordinating bodily functions. |
| Endocrine | Related to the system that produces hormones, which regulate various bodily functions such as growth, metabolism, and reproduction. |
| Immune | Pertaining to the system that protects the body against disease and foreign invaders, including pathogens like bacteria and viruses. |
| Integumentary | Related to the system that includes the skin, hair, nails, and associated glands, serving as a barrier to protect the body. |
| Lymphatic | Referring to the system involved in the transport of lymph, a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells, throughout the body. |
