QuestionAnswer
inference explanation or interpretation of an observation or data, using prior experiences or other observations. An opinion or thought.
fossil preserved remains or traces of an organism that lived in the past, usually more than 10,000 years ago
conclusion includes the relationship between the independent and dependent variables and whether or not the hypothesis was supported
ology suffix meaning the study of, or science of, a particular subject
thermal heat or temperature
wave a disturbance that transfers energy from one place to another without requiring matter to move the entire distance
weight the force of gravity on an object
rock a naturally formed solid that is usually made up of one or more minerals
atom the smallest particle of an element that has the chemical properties of that element
