The Oxygen Cycle Describes the movement of oxygen atoms through the ecosystem between living organisms (biotic) and the atmosphere (abiotic)
Evaporation The process of water or a liquid changing to water vapor due to increased heat
Transpiration When plants release water vapor from their leaves
Dew When condensation takes place on plants or other objects on a cool morning
The Law of Conservation of Mass States that matter is neither created nor destroyed during physical or chemical changes
The Law of Conservation of Energy States that matter can neither be created nor destroyed - only converted form one form of energy to another
Cellular Respiration Is the process in which producers, consumers, consumers and decomposers convert food and oxygen to produce energy, carbon dioxide, and water
Condensation Is the process of rising "water going" water vapor (gas) cooling and changing into water droplets collect around dust particles and eventually form clouds
Precipitation Is the process in which heavy droplets of water fall to the ground in the form of rain, snow, sleet or hail
