TermDefinition
The Law of Conservation of Mass States that Mass energy can only be created or destroyed in a physical or chemical change.
Photosynthesis The process by which plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar.
Deforestation Where trees are cut down, burned, and removed at a large rate.
Nitrogen fixation When nitrogen gets turned into a certain gas and it has a 10% chance of having lightning be the cause

Cellular Respiration The process of animals breathing in oxygen and breaking down glucose into energy, releasing carbon dioxide.
Evaporation the process that changes liquid water to gas
Transpiration The process by which plants give off water vapor through the stomata in their leaves.
Dew moisture that collects on the surfaces of cool surfaces at night
Water Cycle the continuous movement of water within the Earth and atmosphere
The Carbon Cycle reusing carbon atoms, which travel from the atmosphere into organisms in the Earth and then back into the atmosphere over and over again
Precipitation any kind of weather condition where something's falling from the sky
The Nitrogen cycle a process which transforms the inert nitrogen present in the atmosphere to a more usable form for living organisms
Condensation the process of gas turning into liquid water.
The Oxygen Cycle Releases carbon dioxide in the air and reuses it, making oxygen
