| Volume | the amount of space an object occupies |
| Displacement | the change in water level after an object is put into it; used to find volume of an odd-shaped object |
| Meniscus | a curve in the water level in a glass graduated cylinder |
| Temperature | a measure of the amount of heat in an object |
| Absolute Zero | lowest possible temperature |
| Density | a measure of the amount of matter that occupies a particular space;how heavy something is for it's size |
