| malady | (n) A disease or disorder of the body or mind. |
| dismal | (adj) Very gloomy and depressing. |
| malign | (v) To say evil things about. |

| biometric | (adj) Related to the measurement and analysis of unique physical or behavioral characteristics (as fingerprint or voice patterns) especially as a means of verifying personal identity. |
