| evade | (v) To stay away from someone or something; to avoid someone or something; to avoid dealing with or facing something; to avoid doing (something required). |
| persuade | (v) To cause someone to do something by asking, arguing, or giving reasons; to cause someone to believe something. |
| invade | (v) To enter a place (such as a foreign country) in order to take control by military force; to enter a place in large numbers; to enter or be in a place where you are not wanted. |
