Earth's Speres

| Geosphere | the solid part of Earth, including the crust, mantle, and core. It's made up of rocks, minerals, soil, and sediments |
| Hydrosphere | the total amount of water on a planet. The hydrosphere includes water that is on the surface of the planet, underground, and in the air. |
| Atmosphere | the layer of gases that surrounds a planet, like Earth, composed primarily of nitrogen and oxygen, which is held in place by the planet's gravity and acts as a protective blanket, regulating temperature and providing the air we breathe |
| Biosphere | a global ecosystem composed of living organisms (biotic) and the abiotic (nonliving) factors from which they derive energy and nutrients. |
| Ecosystem | a community of organisms and their physical environment interacting together. |
