Identifying plants

TermDefinition
Tropism A plants growth response toward or away from a stimulus is called
Hormone Is produced by a chemical that affects how you grow
Photoperodism A plants response to seasonal changes in length of night and day is called
Critical night length the number of hours of darkness that determines whether or not a plant will flower.
Dormancy a period when an organism's growth or activity stops. Dormancy helps plants survive freezing temperatures and the lack of liquid water.
