Non vascular plants Have no true vascular tissue
Rhiziod Thin rootlike structures that anchor the moss and absorb water and nutrients
Vascular plant Plants with true vascular tissue
Pholoem The vascular tissue through which food moves
Xylem The roots that absorb water and minerals from the soil
Frond The ferns leaves
Pollen Tiny structures that contain the cells that will later become sperm cells
Seed A structure that contains a young plant inside a protective covering
Gymnosperms A plant that produces naked seeds
Angiosperms They produce flowering plants, produce seeds that are in closed in fruits
