| credence | the mental attitude or thought that something is believable and should be accepted as true |
| credentials | a document attesting to the truth of certain stated facts; documentary evidence that a person has certain status or privileges |
| credible | plausible, capable of being believed |
| criticism | critical judgment passed or expressed; disapproval expressed by pointing out faults or shortcomings |
| discredit | to harm the good reputation of a person; to cause an idea or piece of evidence to seem false or unreliable |
| favoritism | an inclination to favor some person or group over another |
| heroism | the qualities of a hero or heroine; exceptional or heroic courage when facing danger |
| mannerism | a behavioral attribute that is distinctive/peculiar to an individual |
| mechanism | device consisting of a piece of machinery; any mechanical means for the conversion or control of motion |
