| Precipitation | water that falls from clouds to the ground in the form of rain, hail, sleet, or snow |
| Weather | the condition of the atmosphere at a place for a short period of time, including humidity, cloud cover, temperature, wind and precipitation |
| Wind direction | where the wind is blowing |
| Precipitate | a solid formed due to a chemical reaction of liquids Rain gauge |
| Temperature | a way of measuring how hot or cold something is; temperature is measures using either the Fahrenheit (F) or Celsius (C) scale |
