68WM6 10-10 Enemy Prisoners of War

Define ENEMY PRISONER OF WAR (EPW) One who while engaged in combat under orders of his/her government is captured by the armed forces of their enemy.
Define CIVILIAN INTERNEE (C.I.) Person who is interned in an armed conflict/occupation for security reasons or for protection or they have comitted an offense against the detaining power.
Define OTHER DETAINEES (O.D.) Person in custody of enemy armed forces who have not been classified as an EPW.
Define RETAINED PERSONNEL (R.P.) Enemy can be retained if:-Med Personnel exclusively: searching for collection, transport, TX of sick/wounded prevention of disease staff exclusively admin of medical units/establishments-Chaplains-Staff of Red Cross/Voluntary Aid Societies
Define Personal Property All personal use items (not military equipment)
