Constructive Forces Anything that raises the surface of the earth.
Destructive Forces Anythig that lowers the earth's surface
Delta A delta is a hill of sediment found were a river meets and ocean.
Sand Dune A hill of sand moved and shaped by the wind.
Deposition When water slows and the sediment in the water drops
Faults Faults are cracks in the earths surface that makes the ground higher.
Earthquake When the earth rumbles.It can cause the land to lower or it can raise it therefore it is both destructive and constructive
Erosion When the earth is taken away when little bites of rocks are taken away
Decomposer an organism, usually a bacterium or fungus, that breaks down the cells of dead plants and animals into simpler substances.
Weathering Chemical processes that cause exposed rock to decompose rusting=oxidation
Organisms Forms of life
Levee an embankment(a bank, mound, dike, or the like, raised to hold back water, carry a roadway, etc.) designed to prevent the flooding of a river
Seismologic Studies Seismology is the study of earthquakes and seismic waves that move through and around the earth. A seismologist is a scientist who studies earthquakes and seismic waves.
Beach Reclatamation Beach reclamation is the act of reclaiming a beach from erosion. In other words sand is added to the area that was lost to erosion "reclaiming" the shoreline that once was. Reclamation does not just occur on ocean beaches on shorline subject to erosion
Flood Control the act or technique of controlling river flow with dams, dikes, artificial channels, etc., so as to minimize the occurrence of floods.
Volcano When the earth rumbles.When lava comes out it is a constructive force.When it explodes it is a destructive force.
Dam A wall built to keep water from getting into one place of a river or lake ect.
