neap tide - a tide with the least difference between high and low tides
spring tide - a tide with the most difference between high and low tides
full moon - the phase of the moon where its whole disk is illuminated
new moon - the phase of the moon where it is invisible from Earth, the disk is dark
gravitational force - the attractive force exerted by a planet due to its mass, pulling objects towards its center
rotation - the circular motion of an object around its center\, Earth's is 24 hours.
revolution - the movement of the Earth around the sun.
axis - an imaginary line that passes through the center of the Earth, from the north to the south poles.
season - a period of the year with certain patterns of weather and daylight.
