state where the breathing system is located breath in through the nose or mouth and in through the trachea and to the lungs

lungs soft spongy organs contained in a double membrane called the pleura. bronchi subdivide to bronchioles, then alveoli which are a network of blood capillaries that allow gaseous exchange
state the function of cartilage supports the trachea so it doesn't collapse when air isn't passing
describe the adaptions of alveoli alveoli has a large surface area of 90m2, short distance between air and blood, walls of alveoli are elastic, blood is under high pressure and thin walls in the alveoli are only one cell thick
breathing disorder, cause, prevention and treatment asthma, allergy inflammation and pollen, avoid the cause of allergy (clean air) and inhaler or widen bronchioles
name the gas that controls breathing and how carbon dioxide, it dissolves in the blood plasma, causing a faster rate of breathing
