| subscription means | to order and pay for something on a regular basis such as magazines or newspapers. sub means below and script means write so you would "write" your name "below" on a document to subscribe. |

| script can be | a type of font, written text, something you read when studying to perform in a play, etc. |

| the suffixes ology/logy mean | the study of - so then biology is the study of life |
| autograph means | a signature or when someone writes their own "self" name - it can be a noun or a verb |
| biosphere means | the part of the earth that contains life - sphere means "round" |
