Back up To support or reinforce. "In order to follow a positive path in my career, I need to back up my goals".
Bring about To cause or make happen. "If you want to bring about your dreams, you must set up a coherent plan".
Bring up To mention or raise. "He's broken up with his girlfriend three days ago, let's not bring up the topic".
Carry on To continue. "Don't insist on complaining about your bad marks, you must carry on and focus on the next semester".
Come up with To think or create. "Every monday, I must come up with original journalistic topics for my work meetings".
Cut down on To reduce. "My cousin suffers from imsomnia, so he cut down on his hours playing videogames, in order to sleep better".
Get along with To have a good relationship with. "Despite many years have passed since I graduated from school, I still get along with my old friends".
Come across To find by chance. "On my way to his work, my dad came across a traffic accident at the Panamerican Highway".
Get away with Escape without punishment. "My cousin stole some cookies from that glass jar and he managed to get away with it".
Come up to arise or occur. "While we were working on the renovation, some structural problems came up that we didn't anticipate".
