cementation When minerals start "gluing" that is a process called cementation.
compaction Compaction is something where sediment gets buried down by debris.
igneous rock Igneous rock is a rock made by cooled down lava.(erupted magma)
magma Lava is something that is at the surface of earth while magma is beneath the surface.
matter Something that is solid, liquid, or gas.
rock formation Rocks that begin by weathering or a rock breaking down.
sample A part of something to show what the whole would look like.
sediment Matter that is at the bottom of liquid.
sedimentary rock Rocks made by sediment.
cross-section A surface or shape that is cut through.
