| Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune | The Outer Planets |
| Characteristics of Outer Planets | Large size, gaseous make-up (primarily of hydrogen and helium), low density, numerous moons, the presence of rings, and longer orbits |
| Galilean Moons | The four largest and brightest moons |
| Meteor | A rock that is going really fast and catches on fire |
| Asteroids | Large, rocky objects |
| Meteroids | small bodies (rocks) that travel through space |
| Meteor | Can reach the Earth's atmosphere |
| Meteorite | A meteor that has fallen to Earth |
| Comets | A chunk of frozen gasses, ice, and rocky debris |
| Orbital Path | The curved path, usually elliptical |
| Rotation | The spinning of a planet, moon, sun, or other objects |
| Revolution | One orbit of an object in space around another object |
| Orbit | The path an object in space follows as it revolves |
| Gravity | All celestial bodies in our solar system revolve around the sun |
