seismologist a scientist who monitors the vibrations inside the earth
earthquake sudden movement of the earth's surface, felt as vibrating, rolling, and rumbling
magma hot liquid rock beneath the surface of the earth that is pushed from a volcano
squalls strong twisting winds that develop out of thunderstorms
hurricane a huge spinning storm that forms over warm ocean water
volcano a landform above a magma chamber, usually looking like a large dome or mountain
windshear winds blowing from two different directions in a twisting motion
tsunami a huge wave of water that crashes on shore after a disturbance occurs under the ocean
storm surge the fast moving, rising wall of water that pushes onto shore with a hurricane
tornado a storm with high twisting winds that forms over land
