What does "Support" provide in bone function? Provides structural support for the whole body Ex: Appendicular and axial skeleton
What are Levers for movement in bone function? Bones serve as the attachment point for muscles other soft tissue and organs. The muscles pulling on the bone cause the skeleton to move these movements can be large as in walking or small as in picking a splinter out of your finger
Hematopoiesis The major blood forming region in the body is in the marrow of long bones

Why is calcium needed for bone function? Calcium is needed for muscle movement, blood clotting, and release of neurotransmitter from neurons
