Mixture Is a physical combination of two or more substances that mix but do not combine chemically
Colloid Is a mixture of which the parts are so small that they do NOT settle out. Example would be whipped cream
Solution Homogeneous mixtures look the same throughout
Suspension Looks the same throughout. The particles settle out. Example would be muddy water
Heterogenous Mixture Has parts that are not uniformly mixed together
Homogenous Mixture Has parts that are uniformed throughout. Dissolves best in warm water.. Example would be sugar water
