IPC Unit 7 Waves Vocabulary

DefinitionTerm
change in direction of a wave as it moves from one medium to another refraction
the process where two or more waves combine to form a new wave interference
a wave behavior in which waves strike an object and bounce back off reflection
measure of the size of the disturbance of a wave; height on the y-axis amplitude
