scientific method A method of investigation (experimentation) involving observation and theory to test scientific hypotheses
problem A statement of the problem or question that you would like to answer
research Find information about the subject, including past scientific experimentation
material Items needed to conduct a scientific experiment
hypothesis A prediction about what will happen, based on research and background knowledge
procedure Step by step process to carry out a scientific experiment
conclusion Analyze your data and summarize your findings; State how the results relate to the hypothesis
reflection Think about how you might change the experiment if you perform it again; Repeat with new understanding and/or ask another question
