Celestial Body an object in space
Constellation a group of stars seen from Earth that represents an animal, object, or mythological person
Day the length of time a planet takes to make one complete turn on its axis
Moon a natural object that revolves around a planet
Orbit the path of an object as it circles around another object in space
Planet a large body in space that orbits a star and does not produce its own light
Rotation the spinning motion of a planet on its axis as it revolves around the Sun
Solar System the Sun, planets, and all the objects that orbit the Sun
Star a body in space that gives off light like our Sun
Sun the star that is made of mostly hydrogen and helium gases and supplies the heat and light that sustains life on Earth
Year the length of time a planet takes to go around the Sun
