carbohydrates - digestion salivary/pancreatic amylase = statch (polysaccharide) to maltose (disaccharide). Intestinal amylase from disaccharide to monosaccharide. the glucose is absorbed into the villi capillaries to the hepatic portal vein to the liver
proteins - digestion gastric protease = proteins to smaller polypeptides. pancreatic protease = smaller polypeptides to peptides. instestinal protease = peptides to amino acids. that get absorbed into villi capillaries to hepatic portal vein to the liver.
lipids - digestion pancreatic/intestinal lipase = lipids to glycerol and fatty acids. that get absorbed into lacteals then lymphatic system which joins the general blood circulation via the sub-clavian vein
