What bodily system is affected by Huntington Disease? The nerve cells in the nervous system are affected by Huntington disease. It results in a loss of muscle control
What is a transgenic organism? A transgenic organism is an organism that has had their genes altered or had genes from other species inserted in the.
How is Genetic Engineering connected to Transgenic Organisms? Genetic engineering is the process in which a transgenic organism is created.
Why are mutations bad? A mutation occurs when a codon sequence is rearranged and loses its ability to perform its set function
What is a mutagen? Mutagens are substances or radiation that cause genes to mutate Ex. radiation, vaping and smoking
What is the difference between a sibling and a clone? Siblings have similar genes from their mutual parents but clones are exact copies down to their very genes.
